Proof of Balance

TLDR

When subscribing to our scooters, we may request a Proof of Balance document. This helps us verify your identity, address, and bank account for direct debit. This guide explains why it’s needed and how to download it from your bank.

Overview

A Proof of Balance document confirms that a bank account belongs to you and that there is enough balance to cover your scooter subscription. It also helps us verify your address and simplifies the verification process by fulfilling multiple requirements with one document.

Why We Ask for a Proof of Balance Document

Proof of Address Verification

Proof of Balance documents typically include your full name, residential address, and bank details. This allows us to verify your contact information and link your identity to your payment method.

Proof of Account Ownership for Direct Debit

As subscription payments are made via direct debit, this document confirms that the bank account is registered under your name and is the same one used for your subscription.

Simplified Process

Submitting one document fulfils both the Proof of Address and Proof of Account Ownership requirements. This means fewer steps for you and faster verification.
