  • How can I contact you?

    For most cases, our FAQs page (this page) will serve your need. You will find answers to the most asked questions here.

    You can also chat with us through messenger on Facebook or chat widget on our website. Response time is 2-4 hours.

    Before Sales: Only through WhatsApp. You might see our Ads on Facebook or Google, but we would discuss only on WhatsApp. In fact, the calls that you may receive would be through WhatsApp.

    After Sales: You can call on our mobile number 0452 363 110 for all issues. We might direct you to our website for something like booking returns, scheduling servicing, incident reporting.

  • How old are your scooters?

    Our scooters are maximum 3 years old.

    At Motion Rental, we take the presentation and look of our vehicles very seriously. All the photos you see on our website are of our own vehicles.

  • What does it cost?

    During the booking or during pickup. You may be charged as below:

    • $200 Security Bond
    • $350 Security Deposit (If your age is between 18-21 years)
    • Based upon when you collect vehicle, first week or first two weeks rental price
    • Any other options that you may have opted from.

    Subsequent vehicle subscription payments will be processed automatically every 7 days.

  • What is the minimum rental period?

    Minimum subscription period is 4 weeks.

    1 week’s notice is required to return the vehicle.

    Please Note

    We offer weekly subscriptions only and hence, we cannot charge prorated amount.

    There is a minimum 1 week rental fee applied. For Example:

    • If you rent for 1-7 days, you pay 1 weeks rental fee
    • If you rent for 8-14 days, you pay 2 weeks rental fee and so on.
  • How far can I ride?

    Due to the way insurance works, we add 10km as regular travel distance from your mentioned address in any direction. If you will be riding further than that on a regular basis, you have to let us know, and we will update the insurance policy accordingly.

    If you have specific requirements, these need to be informed prior to the travel.

    Additional fees may be charged to cover the increased insurance costs.

  • What license is required to hire a scooter?

    In Queensland, a valid motorcycle license is required for our scooters.

    International license are welcome, as long as they are issued in English or have an English translation with them.

  • What type of insurance is included?

    We only provide CTP (Compulsory Third Party) Insurance.

    We provide Comprehensive Insurance to all our subscribers (from Dec. 15, 2023)

    Our Rental Agreement outlines this in further detail.

  • Will you supply insurance documentation?

    Yes, if you require these documents, we will provide a copy of the registration and CTP Insurance to allow you to register for Food Delivery platforms.

    This is only once you have completed all necessary paperwork and made payment.

  • What happens if I damage the scooter?

    Loss or Damage to the Scooter

    • If there is minor Damage to the Scooter, you must pay a Damage Excess of $250;
    • If the Damage to the Scooter is more substantial and exceeds $250 but is repairable, you must pay the full Insurance Excess cost;
    • If there is any Damage to the Scooter however it has been caused, You will forfeit the Security Deposit that you would have paid initially before the start of your subscription term.

    Third Party Loss

    • If there is Third Party Loss arising from an accident, you must pay a Damage Excess of $2500 if you are between 18-21 years of age, $1,500 if you are over 21 years of age.
  • Can I extend the rental?

    Certainly, you can. You must provide 72hrs prior notice via email or through SMS. We can approve and process the additional rental payment/s.

  • What to do if I have a flat tyre?

    Call us immediately on WhatsApp. We will guide you to the best course of action.

    Please understand if the front tyre has puncture, the tyre will need replacement.

    If it is a back tyre, depending on the type of puncture/damage incurred will dictate whether it can be repaired or the tyre has to be replaced.

    All costs associated with this are the responsibility of the person hiring the scooter at the time.
